3rd from left is one of our servers, the nephew of a friend of mine. |
Since all the ladies were driving, they gave us guys rides to
Reckless Shepherd Brewing. Niharika met us when we arrived at 1:45.
Greg and Lisa eventually showed up after we'd taken the group photo.
This place, which used to be called Frisco Tap House,
has two sides: a restaurant/bar with food and guest taps (top two photos);
and a very large space with Reckless beers and a stage where bands play. We were in the latter.
Our tastings included:
- Sonnen Garten (good German pilsner)
- Mr. Gorbachev RIS '24 (good 11.5% ABV Russian imperial stout)
- Sour Prick (good prickly pear sour)
- Verstappen's Crash (pretty good farmhouse saison)
- Detained in Tijuana (fairly good dark lager)
Next stop: Cushwa Brewing, where Joel and Jeff met us.
The original location is in
Williamsport. We were at the

I only dozed off once all day! |
Then we came back to my house and drank in my bar until about 10:30. It had been a great day.
