At the beginning of July, Melissa and I did a brief trip over the
Bay Bridge to a state park and several breweries.
Tuesday July 1. We left at 11:15 and arrived at Ten Eyck Brewing at 12:25. It opened in 2020. I tried:

We crossed into Delaware and arrived at Dewey Beer Company's
Harbeson location shortly after 2:00. I sampled:

Then we went back into Maryland to
Berlin Beer Company, arriving at 3:30. It opened in September 2024.
There wasn't a big selection and most of the draughts were guest beers. I got:

Less than a mile away is Burley Oak Brewing. We arrived at 4:00.
Melissa's friend Allison, whom she hadn't seen in several years, met us. The brewery didn't have any of its best beers
on tap that day. I sampled:

Then we all went to Tall Tales Taphouse, arriving at 6:15.
This place had been a brewery but stopped brewing so now it's just a restaurant/taphouse. The ladies got food and I
didn't order anything. Got some photos though.

We said good-bye to Allison and went back into Delaware to
Trap Pond State Park, where we had reserved a spot in
the campground. We arrived around
8:00ish and set up our tent just in time before we got a heavy downpour. It was very warm and very humid.
Took a shower, which was not a pleasant experience because the water came out hot and there was no way to
adjust the temperature. We settled in around 9:00. The rain helped to cool off our tent, which by the way leaked.
Wednesday July 2. It rained during the night and there were a few puddles in the tent. We packed up, left
around 8:00, parked next to Trap Pond, and started
our 4½-mile loop hike around the pond at 8:15. It was overcast, warm, and humid, and there were very few people
due to the rain forecast and the fact that it was a weekday morning. The hike was pleasant except for the north side
of the pond, which had swarms of biting horseflies.

There was a bridge with lots of lichens.

We were done at 10:20 and got to our vehicle just before another heavy downpour.
We went to Burnish Beer Company in Salisbury MD, arriving about
20 minutes before it opened at 11:30. Dogs were not allowed inside, so Melissa walked Foo while I sampled:

We arrived at RaR Brewing's Cambridge MD location at 12:45.
There are actually several locations on the same street: the main
taproom,
Chessie Burger (formerly RaR Eats),
The LabRaRtory (serves beer cocktails), and
The Dive Club (a higher class place on the other side
of the street). RaR also has a restaurant/taproom in Annapolis called
Chessie's Wharf, where we'd been a
few times. The Cambridge taproom didn't allow dogs inside, so Melissa hung out in the shade with Foo
while I tried:

There were many guest cans and bottles from great breweries such as Mortalis and Other Half for sale,
so I bought 6 of them to go. Then we headed home.
