Columbia Pub Crawl 2020

Sunday March 15

A bunch of CRABSters and friends visited all the Columbia breweries. Four of us hit every stop, and several other folks joined us at different times so that there were anywhere from seven to ten of us at each stop.

Our first stop was Sapwood Cellars. This place has a sour barrel program but those beers were available in bottle only. The only sour they had on tap was a kettle sour. I sampled:

Our next stop was Reckless Ale Works, which is Frisco Tap House's brewery. It had just opened about two months earlier (their beers were brewed at Frisco for several years). It's a large space with ping pong, pool, and air hockey tables. The main attraction is axe throwing. Hey, nothing like mixing alcohol with sharp objects. The beers are served in pints only; no flights. Some of us weren't phobic about coronavirus so we tasted each other's beers. I tried:

A block away is Frisco Tap House. (There is also another Frisco in Crofton.) They had more than 50 beers on tap, including 7 Reckless beers. I tasted:

Next we went to Hysteria Brewing. (I parked at Black Flag and walked to Hysteria so I'd be done driving for the day.) I tried:

Less than a mile away is Black Flag Brewing. I tasted:

Afterward I went with Les, Jeff, and Tom to a local Indian restaurant called Chutney. Then they dropped me off at my car, where I had a nice pillow and sleeping bag waiting for me.
